Hildebrandt Lutz

Lutz Hildebrandt

Born in 1947 in Berlin, Lutz Hildebrandt protested against communist propaganda by ripping a poster of the governing SED in 1967. The Ministry of Sate Security arrested him and brought him to the central prison in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. He was eventually sentenced to one year and eight months in prison, the reasons for which were "anti-state propaganda and libel."
