Holger Krug

Holger Krug was arrested in 1985, as he tried to escape via Bulgaria to the West. He was sentenced to one and a half years in prison. He was imprisoned in Bulgaria, in Leipzig and in Karl-Marx-Stadt which is today called Chemnitz. In 1986 the Federal Republic of Germany payed for his release.
