3. Use of technically necessary cookies

a) Description and scope of data processing

We use so-called cookies on our website, which serve to recognise you as a user and to make it easier for you to use our site. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser installs on your end device. These are often so-called "session cookies", which are deleted again after the end of your session.

Other cookies remain installed on your end device until you remove them again. These installed cookies allow us to identify your web browser on your next visit.

You can also set your web browser to inform you when cookies are installed. As part of the settings, you can choose whether cookies should only be allowed in individual cases, or only be installed in certain cases, or generally not accepted, or automatically deleted after closing your web browser. If you decide to deactivate cookies, this may restrict your use of the website.

We use cookies on our website to make it more user-friendly for you. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can be identified even after a page change.

We use technically necessary cookies to optimise the use of the website for you. Our legitimate interest in processing your personal data also lies in these purposes.

We do not use the personal data collected through technically necessary cookies to create user profiles.

d) Duration of storage

These session cookies are stored on the user's computer and automatically deleted after the browser session ends. You can find the duration of storage in the table below. In our cookie settings, you can change your cookie selection at any time.
You can also deactivate or restrict the transfer of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.

4. Use of cookies for analysis purposes (Google Analytics with anonymisation function)

Therefore, we use Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_gat._anonymizeIp", whereby your IP address is already shortened by Google within the territory of the EU member states or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and results in an anonymisation of your IP address. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. According to its own information, Google does not combine your IP address with other data collected by Google.

More detailed information on the terms of use and data protection of Google Analytics can be found at https://www.google.de/analytics/terms/de.html.

Google may also transfer the information it collects to other recipients where required to do so by law, or where Google uses third party processors.

d) Duration of storage

The cookies used by Google Analytics to analyse website usage have a preset storage period, which you can find in the table below. You can change your cookie selection at any time in our cookie settings.
You can independently uninstall the cookies installed by Google Analytics and thus delete the stored data. We explain how this deletion can be carried out via the browser settings in the following point.

e) Possibility of revocation in accordance with Art. 7 DSGVO
