Guided Tours

On Monday June, 7 indoor public tours in German will start again:

Daily 10am to 4pm, every hour. The maximum participant capacity per public tour is 20 visitors.

English tours daily at 10:40 am, 12:40 pm and at 14:40 pm.

The exibition "Inhaftiert in Hohenschönhausen" and the special exibition "Stasi in Berlin" are accessible during our opening hours between 9am und 6pm. The exhibitions are free of charge.

An online-registration for a guided tour is recommended.

Visits and participation on a tour are only permitted persons recovered, with vaccination or with a proof of a corona test. Wearing a FFP2 face mask or a medical mask is necessary.


Fricke Karl Wilhelm Karl Wilhelm Fricke
The freelance journalist documented openly political persecution and injustice in the GDR in both press and radio in the 1950s. He was one of several hundred people who were abducted by the Ministry of State Security in West Berlin.
