Krebs Norbert

Norbert Krebs

As a teenager, he attracted the attention of Stasi because he was listening to Udo Lindenberg's song "Sonderzug nach Pankow." In May 1989, citizens of East German discovered that the government had staged a fake election. Norbert Krebs took part in this exposure and filed charges against the government. Instead of receiving answers, he was arrested. During the course of the peaceful revolution in autumn 1989, he was released.
